Level 3 Performance Massage

The Level 3 Diploma in Performance Massage qualification provides you with the knowledge and skills to provide massage for preparation and recovery from physical activity and exercise on non-pathological/ non-injured soft tissue perhaps in conjunction with personal training. 

Level 2 Mental Health Awareness

Develop the essential knowledge in order for you to understand mental health, mental ill health and risks associated with mental health conditions. On developing an awareness of mental health you will be able to support individuals with mental health conditions by referring them to mainstream medical or alternative support organisations.

Level 3 Supporting Participation in Physical Activity: Older Adults

Train to become an exercise for older adults specialist with the YMCA Awards Level 3 Award in Adapting Exercise for Independently Active, Older People.

Level 3 Exercise Referral

Train to become an Exercise Referral specialist with the YMCA Awards Level 3 Exercise Referral.

Level 4 Sports Massage Therapy

At Level 4, a Sports Massage Therapist practitioners role includes planning, providing and evaluating sports massage treatments to seek to correct common patterns of dysfunction, and/or pre-diagnosed injuries, using a range of basic and advanced assessment and massage and manual therapy techniques.

Level 2 Long-Term Behaviour Change

Develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours of qualified fitness instructors for them to be able to work with inactive people (adults) with no pre-existing health conditions. Upon completion, you will be able to plan and deliver programmes of physical activity that can engage individuals and positively challenge behaviours for the long term.

Level 3 Exercise for Disabled Clients

Train to become an exercise for disabled clients specialist with the YMCA Awards Level 3 Award in Programming and Supervising Exercise with Disabled Clients.
